چکیده
Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) is an autoinflammatory skin disease characterized by painful, pruritic nodules, abscesses and pus-draining tunnels in intertriginous skin. To better elucidate the immune response leading to localized activity HS skin, we compared cytokines from 15 lesional perilesional biopsies patients with Hurley Stage II III HS. Patients additionally filled out a qualitative questionnaire assessing range of symptoms environmental factors including pain, itch, sweat levels diet at time biopsy. Cytokine were assessed using bead-based, multi-analyte immunoassay system. The expression IP-10 (CXCL-10), IL-8, MIP-alpha (CCL-3), MIP-beta (CCL-4), GRO-alpha (CXCL-1), 1L-1ß eotaxin-1 (CCL-11) all found be significantly enhanced clinically normal Eotaxin-1 displayed 1.8 fold elevation as (p=0.0234 paired t-test). eosinophil chemoattractant, also atopic dermatitis, that plays critical role tissue inflammation may linked pathogenesis highly flares. Overall, our results indicate inflammatory markers lesions are those produced keratinocytes (1L-1ß, CCL-3), T-cell or B-cell activation sites (CXCL-10 CCL-4, respectively) regulate neutrophil chemoattraction (CXCL-1) which align previously reported marker known lesions. We further stratifying these patient-reported symptoms, treatment, develop greater insight into treatment strategies pathogenic processes underlying

OBJECTIVE To review the presentation and clinical findings of arthritis associated with hidradenitis suppurativa. METHOD Medical records from the rheumatology clinics of two major teaching hospitals were reviewed for arthritis and hidradenitis suppurativa. The nine patient records fulfilling these criteria were reviewed and compared with 20 previous reports. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION The arthr...

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a skin disease characterized by recurrent nodules or abscesses and chronic suppurating lesions. In the absence of clear pathophysiology, HS is considered to be an inflammatory disease and has no satisfactory medical treatment. Recently, prolonged antimicrobial treatments were shown to improve or resolve HS lesions. We prospectively studied the microbiology of 10...
متن کاملPyoderma gangrenosum associated with hidradenitis suppurativa.
Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is associated with a number of systemic diseases. PG in association with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) has been rarely reported. We describe six patients (three men, three women; aged 35--51 years), who developed PG on a background of HS. The onset of PG occurred only after HS had been present for at least two decades. No relationship in disease activity between the tw...
